She packed her 15" laptop, personal items and reading material and made sure it was not too heavy and I examined it after packing for weight. While wearing this back pack at the airport, one of the straps broke. Now you could say it wasn't properly stitched from the beginning, but I made sure when I received this back pack that the straps were correctly on since my daughter was carrying it on her vacation. <br /> <br />My daughter will be returning after the 1-month Amazon return period expires. It seems to be slightly smaller than some of the other swissgear backpacks on Amazon, but I have a Swissgear backpack I bought in a real store last year that is perfect size and smaller than this one.
